Get ready to add some vibrant color to your gaming setup! Microsoft has just unveiled the latest addition to its Cipher family of controllers – the Pulse Cipher Special Edition in a striking red design.
A Translucent Design
This special edition boasts a translucent top case, offering a glimpse into the controller’s inner workings. It maintains the design of the Sky Cipher and Ghost Cipher models but with a fresh red color palette. Xbox describes the design as a blend of “modern gaming meets enduring nostalgia.”
Availability and Pricing
The red Pulse Cipher Special Edition is available for pre-order now, launching February 4th.

Microsoft also announced transparent Cipher Series top cases and chromatic D-pad and paddles for its Elite Series 2 controllers, inspired by 90s and early 2000s translucent tech. These are available via Xbox Design Lab.
