Who Should Play Tingle in Live Action Zelda Movie
A live-action Tingle in The Legend of Zelda movie might be a bit of an oddball idea, but Takaya Imamura, the creator behind the green spandex-wearing character, has someone in mind for the role.
Tingle’s Creator Reveals His Choice
In an interview with VGC, Imamura expressed his curiosity about Tingle’s appearance in the Zelda movie and stated that he would love to see the character in the film. When asked about who should play Tingle, Imamura mentioned Masi Oka, an actor known for his roles in NBC’s Heroes, Hawaii Five-O, Bullet Train, and The Meg.
Why Masi Oka?
Imamura’s choice might seem unexpected, but Oka’s versatility as an actor and his experience in various roles make him a suitable candidate for the part. Additionally, Oka is the founder of Mobius Digital, the developer behind the critically acclaimed game Outer Wilds.
Other Casting Suggestions
While Imamura’s suggestion for Tingle’s role is interesting, other actors have also expressed their interest in playing characters in The Legend of Zelda movie. Haley Joel Osment has thrown his hat in the ring to play Link, and Euphoria’s Hunter Schafer thinks it would be cool to portray Zelda.
