It’s been a while since the last Game Boy Advance (GBA) game graced the service, with the most recent additions being a couple of F-Zero titles back in October 2024.

Mark your calendars for February 14th, This classic, initially released in 2001, marks the final handheld adventure for Nintendo’s greedy antihero before he transitioned to the frantic world of WarioWare microgames.

What to Expect

If you’ve journeyed through Wario Land 3, the gameplay here will feel somewhat familiar. However, there’s a twist, Wario now has a health bar. Running out of HP means losing all your precious collectibles in a level and starting from scratch.

A Glimpse into the Future

The game offers a sneak peek into Wario’s microgame destiny. Some of Wario Land 4’s assets and music found their way into WarioWare, which launched 18 months later. The game includes mini-games.
