Warhammer Space Marine 2 Easter Eggs Revealed
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is an action-packed game filled with gory third-person action. However, the game also contains numerous small details related to the original Space Marine game and the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Some of these details may have gone unnoticed amidst the chaos, but we’ve uncovered some of the hidden gems throughout the game. Note: Some small spoilers are ahead.
Hidden Details in Warhammer Space Marine 2
There are several Easter eggs and hidden details throughout the game that fans of the Warhammer 40,000 universe will appreciate. Here are a few examples:
Deathwatch Titus’ Original Chainsword
During the opening mission, Titus wields a familiar-looking Chainsword. This is the same model of Chainsword from the original Space Marine game, and it’s likely the same sword. Although Titus receives a more modern Chainsword later in the game, his old sword can be found mounted in his room on the Battle Barge.
Titus’ Deathwatch Pauldron
In Titus’ quarters, you can also find his Pauldron from his time in Deathwatch on display. Typically, these Pauldrons are worn on the left shoulder while an Ultramarine is in Deathwatch and moved to the right arm when they leave. However, Titus has chosen to display his Pauldron instead of wearing it, suggesting he has mixed feelings about his time in Deathwatch.
These are just a few examples of the many hidden details and Easter eggs in Warhammer Space Marine 2. Fans of the game and the Warhammer 40,000 universe will enjoy discovering these subtle nods to the original game and the larger universe.
