After a year of anticipation, Rebel Wolves and Namco Bandai have unveiled the first trailer for their dark fantasy action-RPG, now officially titled The Blood of Dawnwalker.

A Dark Fantasy World

The game, described as the first chapter in a new RPG saga, is a single-player open-world experience set in 14th-century Europe during the Black Death. Players take on the role of Coen, a young man transformed into a Dawnwalker, caught between the world of day and the realm of night. Vampires and other creatures of the night seize control in this weakened world.

Gameplay and Story

The trailer showcases a cinematic glimpse into the game’s world, promising a strong focus on narrative. Players will combine vampiric strength with human resolve to save loved ones, facing foes both human and monstrous. The game’s scale is suggested to be similar to The Witcher 3‘s Blood and Wine expansion but potentially with more quests.
