Get Ready for High-Speed Action with F-Zero on Nintendo Switch Online
Nintendo Switch Online subscribers are in for a treat as two classic F-Zero games are set to join the platform’s growing library of retro titles. F-Zero: GP Legend and F-Zero Climax, both originally released on the Game Boy Advance, will be available on Switch starting October 11th.
About the Games
F-Zero: GP Legend, a sequel to the GBA launch game F-Zero: Maximum Velocity, features a similar gameplay style to the SNES original, with the addition of a Story mode based on the anime of the same name.
F-Zero Climax, a sequel to GP Legend, was previously only available in Japan and offers more of an expansion pack experience. The game includes a Course Editor, allowing players to create their own tracks using specific pieces.
F-Zero 99 Update and Anniversary Event
In addition to the classic game releases, F-Zero 99 has received a new update with fresh content, available now. The update includes:
Nintendo is also hosting a one-year anniversary event for F-Zero 99, where players can earn 12 anniversary badges, backdrops, borders, and emotes.
