Team SouL Takes a Break From PUBG Mobile Tournaments to Reassess Strategy
Team SouL, a prominent PUBG Mobile squad in India and globally, has announced a temporary hiatus from competitive tournaments. The team will be taking a break until April 18th, during which they will focus on strategy revisions.
Reasons for the Break
SouL’s recent performance has been underwhelming, with a 11th place finish in the PMPL South Asia Scrims and an 8th place finish in the Akhada Cup. This break allows the team to address these shortcomings and explore new strategies.
SouL’s Strategy and Past Success
While individual players on SouL possess excellent skills, the team recognizes the need to improve their synergy. This is not the first time SouL has opted for a strategic break. In the past, similar breaks have proven beneficial, leading to strong performances such as their success in PMCO 2019.
Impact on PMPL Scrims
The PMPL South Asia Scrims, a reorganized version of the PMPL due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will conclude on April 17th. SouL’s current position makes their withdrawal from the Scrims a relatively inconsequential decision.
