Switch 2 Leak: Accessory Maker Hints at Design
The gaming accessory maker, Satisfye, accidentally revealed a blurry image of the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 in a now-removed trailer for their ZenGrip 2 controller grip and carry case.
What We Know
Satisfye’s product pages for the ZenGrip 2, clearly designed for the Switch 2, are still online. While the pages don’t explicitly name the “Switch,” they advertise the accessories as “Made for Next Gen Console,” featuring an image of a current-gen Switch.
The removed trailer showed the Switch 2 docked in the ZenGrip 2, offering a glimpse of its design. The ZenGrip 2 product page states that the design is “Expected” and may be adjusted to final specifications before launch.
Previous leaks suggest a design similar to the current Switch, but with a larger screen, a second button on the right Joy-Con, and magnetic Joy-Con attachments. Digital Foundry deemed the previously leaked images as “almost certainly real”. 3D-printed models based on these leaks also exist.
Possible Explanations
- Satisfye may have received insider information from Nintendo.
- Satisfye may be attempting a publicity stunt to gain attention.
Nintendo has confirmed a Switch 2 announcement before March 31, 2025.
