Spider-Man 2 Coming to PC After PlayStation Exclusive Period
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, one of the PS5’s biggest exclusives, is making its way to PC on January 30th. The game will be available via both Steam and the Epic Game Store, marking another major PlayStation title to transition to PC.
About the PC Port
The PC port of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will include the base game and all of its subsequent DLC. This includes New Game Plus mode and extra spider suits, along with PC-specific features like keyboard and mouse controls, ultra widescreen support, and numerous graphical options. The port will also feature enhanced ray-tracing options.
Additional Details
As part of the announcement, Sony revealed that there are no additional story content planned for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on either platform. The port is being handled by Nixxes, a studio that previously worked on the PC versions of the original Spider-Man and its Miles Morales spinoff, as well as Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
What This Means for Sony’s PC Push
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is just the latest in a big PC push from Sony. The company has been expanding its PC offerings, including a PC overlay that launched in June alongside Ghost of Tsushima’s PC port. This move is a significant step forward for Sony’s PC ambitions and is likely to be followed by more PlayStation exclusives making their way to PC.
