Sony’s Fairgame$ Shooter Reportedly Pushed to 2026
Heads up, heist fans Looks like we’ll have to wait a bit longer for Fairgame$, the upcoming shooter from Jade Raymond’s Haven Studios. Originally anticipated for release sooner, it seems the game has hit a snag.
What’s the Deal with Fairgame$
We don’t know a ton about this live-service title yet, other than it’s being developed for PC and PlayStation 5. However, according to Jeff Grubb of Giant Bomb, the release has been internally delayed to 2026.
Grubb didn’t elaborate on the reasons for the delay, but it does mean we likely won’t see Fairgame$ making any appearances this year.
Sony’s Shifting Live-Service Strategy
This news comes amidst a backdrop of Sony reevaluating its approach to live-service games. A few key points to consider:
Another live service game Concord, was taken offline just two weeks after launch.
Other cancellations include London Studio’s co-op game (with the studio itself shutting down), Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us multiplayer project, and a Twisted Metal live-service game at Firesprite.
We’ve contacted Sony for an official statement and will keep you posted as we learn more. Stay tuned for further updates on Fairgame$ and Sony’s evolving gaming strategy.
