Sega Delists 60 Classic Games from Steam: Grab Them Before They’re Gone
Sega is pulling back its classic Master System, Genesis, Saturn, and other console titles from modern game stores. This means those nostalgic games are about to disappear from Steam, Xbox, Nintendo’s Switch store, and the PlayStation store, and getting them back could cost you a nostalgia tax.
After 11:59 pm Pacific time on Dec. 26, over 60 games will be “delisted and unavailable.” While those who have already purchased the games will still have access, Sega has not disclosed the reason behind this move. Sega already offers bundles and collections on Steam, such as the Mega Drive and Genesis Classics and Dreamcast Collection. Buyers will retain access to these bundles even after Sega releases new collections.
