Can you believe it? It’s been a whole year since Palworld burst onto the scene, and the numbers are in: over 32 million players have joined the adventure

A Monster-Sized Milestone

Developer Pocketpair shared the exciting news, revealing that Palworld has welcomed a staggering number of players across all platforms. That includes Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and Steam. While the game initially launched on PC and Xbox, the PS5 version joined the party later, expanding the Palworld community even further.

Still Growing and Evolving

It’s important to remember that Palworld is still technically under development. It’s available via Early Access on PC and Game Preview on Xbox, meaning Pocketpair is constantly working on updates and improvements. So, while 32 million haven’t purchased the game due to things that are similar game pass and free trials, to have that number of people experience the game is still a great success.

The Future of Palworld

The Palworld team is incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support. They’ve promised to make the second year even better, with a roadmap packed full of exciting additions:

The growth has understandably slowed. Reaching 25 million players in its first month, adding another 7 million since then is still an impressive feat.

Beyond the Game

Palworld has had some bumps, such as in September, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company sued Pocketpair in Japan over patent infringement claims, but despite that, Sony and Pocketpair have teamed up, for a Palworld merchandise deal with an eye towards expanding the franchise beyond games
