Get Ready for PWHL Action in NHL 25
EA Sports has announced a multi-year deal with the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) to bring the upstart league’s players and teams to NHL 25. This exciting addition will be available on December 5th, giving players the chance to experience the thrilling world of professional women’s hockey.
PWHL Teams and Features in NHL 25
All six PWHL teams will be playable in NHL 25, including the Boston Fleet, Minnesota Frost, Montréal Victoire, New York Sirens, Ottawa Charge, and Toronto Sceptres. These teams can be utilized in various game modes, including Play Now, Online Versus, Shootout, and Seasons. PWHL uniforms will be accessible in World of Chel and Hockey Ultimate Team. While not all player likenesses will be available at launch, EA has promised to add more players over time.
The PWHL’s version of the Stanley Cup, the Walter Cup, is also included in the NHL 25 integration. Sarah Nurse was featured on the cover of NHL 23 alongside Trevor Zegras.
