Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta Launches in November for Subscribers
Get Ready for the Open Beta
Capcom has announced that the open beta for Monster Hunter Wilds will launch in November for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. The open beta will be available for all platforms on November 1st at 3am GMT, and will come to a close on November 4th at 2.59am BST. However, if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you can access the open beta early, starting on October 29th at 3am GMT.
What to Expect from the Open Beta
The open beta will feature three distinct parts. There’s a character creator that includes all the options from the full game, allowing players to redesign their Hunter and Palico as much as they like, and transfer the designs over to the full game on launch day next year. Additionally, the open beta includes a story trial, featuring Monster Hunter Wilds’ opening cutscene and Catacabra hunt, as well as a separate Doshaguma Hunt.
Other open beta features include full cross-play support, allowing players to register friends across multiple platforms, and a limited version of the Windward Plains region to explore. Players will also get a special pendant to download in the full game that can be used to decorate any weapon or Seikret.
