Lenovo Legion Go S: A Cheaper Handheld Gaming PC
Rumors of a cheaper Lenovo Legion Go S handheld gaming PC, priced around $399, are swirling. Windows Central has released what appear to be official renderings of the device.
Key Features and Differences
A firmware leak revealed the Legion Go S will utilize AMD’s Rembrandt APU with Zen 3-plus cores, less powerful than the current Legion Go’s Zen 4 cores. Based on the images:
- It will feature RGB lighting.
- It will have two USB-C ports on top, none on the bottom.
- It will have a circular D-pad.
- It will include a TrackPoint-style nub mouse instead of a trackpad.
- It will come in white with non-removable grips and triggers, similar to the original Asus ROG Ally.
The current Legion Go, in contrast, has removable controller grips. The Legion Go S represents a more budget-friendly option within the handheld gaming PC market.
