Lego Unveils Six New Mario Kart Sets for 2025
Lego has announced six new Mario Kart sets that are set to be released on New Year’s Day 2025. This marks the first time that Mario’s racer will be immortalized in brick form. According to Lego, each set has been designed to bring the joy of the Super Mario universe to fans, featuring interactive elements such as audio and visual effects.
Introducing the New Sets
The six new sets feature some of Mario Kart’s best-known characters, including Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Toad, Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, and Baby Peach. Note that Lego Mario, Luigi, and Peach figures are not included and must be purchased separately.
The Six Sets Include:
- Yoshi Bike
- Standard Kart
- Donkey Kong and DK Jumbo
- Baby Mario vs. Baby Luigi
- Toad’s Garage
- Baby Peach and the Grand Prix set, featuring Lemmy in the Landship kart and Toad on the standard bike
Other Upcoming Lego Sets
At Gamescom, Lego also announced three new Lego Animal Crossing sets, which will be released on the same day as the Mario Kart sets. Additionally, a 2D-style Super Mario World set featuring Mario and Yoshi will be launched on October 1st.
This New Set Will Be a Part of Lego’s Adult-Orientated Super Mario Range
The upcoming Super Mario World set is the latest entry into Lego’s adult-orientated Super Mario range, following earlier impressive sets such as the fold-out ? Block and Bowser statue.
