You play as a cynical, self-destructive journalist, navigating a world where emotions, memories, and conversations unlock progress, replacing traditional game mechanics.

The game builds upon the mechanics of Disco Elysium and Planescape: Torment, introducing a psychogeography system and a new journalism-based RPG system that lets you craft stories shaping the world and yourself. The developer claims these systems will redefine player agency.
