Fortnite’s latest live event was a massive success, with 5.6 million players coming together to defeat the villainous Doctor Doom. The event, which was part of the game’s current Marvel season, saw players working together to take down the rampaging Doctor Doom.
The Battle Against Doctor Doom
The event began with players gathering to watch Fortnite’s heroes try and block Doctor Doom’s arrival. However, the villain was able to force his way onto the Island, leading to a cutscene that showed fan-favorite characters getting picked off. The heroine Hope then stepped up, using Captain America’s shield to crack Doctor Doom’s mask.
The event then moved into its main phase, a lengthy boss battle against a towering Doctor Doom. Players worked together to whittle down his health, with the game’s global community coming together to defeat the villain. The battle lasted for around an hour, with players able to join in at any time to contribute to the fight.
