Eurogamer’s comments system is undergoing maintenance this week, which means there will be a short period when the ability to leave a comment will be paused. Don’t worry, this isn’t a permanent ban.

Why is the Comments System Being Updated?

We’re changing our comments software behind the scenes, which will improve the overall experience for users. Your user accounts, post history, and likes will be ported over to the new system, so little should change for you.

What to Expect During the Maintenance Period

* The commenting pause will begin today, Wednesday 30th, and last until tomorrow, Thursday 31st.
* You won’t be able to leave comments during this time, but it’s not a permanent ban.
* We apologize for the brief intermission and appreciate your patience as we work to bring over 9.7 million comments to the new system.

What Happens After the Maintenance Period?
