In 2021, Takaya Imamura retired from Nintendo. He started his journey back in 1989, designing iconic characters under the watchful eye of Miyamoto. But even after leaving, Imamura found himself back in the virtual Nintendo offices, collaborating with Miyamoto, the creator of Donkey Kong and Super Mario, in his dreams.
