Big Changes Coming to Destiny 2 Titans
Destiny 2 players, get ready for a major update that’s about to shake things up for Titans. Bungie has announced a series of buffs to the Titan subclass, bringing the experience of playing these beefy characters more in line with the fantasy and making them more viable in endgame activities.
What’s Changing for Titans?
The biggest takeaway from the upcoming Revenant update is that Bungie is hoping to make playing as a Titan feel more like the fantasy of being a frontline fighter. This doesn’t necessarily mean making Titans stronger in a martial sense, but rather tweaking different elements of the Titan build to make them more effective.
Titan Barricade Ability Gets a Boost
One of the most significant changes is to the Titan barricade ability, which will now taunt enemies, drawing their fire away from teammates and toward the barrier itself. This means that enemies will prioritize shooting at the barricade, increasing its defensive functionality and allowing Titans to take some of the heat off their teammates.
Other Tweaks to Titan Abilities
Bungie is also making it easier for Titans to destroy Stasis crystals, which deal freezing damage to nearby enemies. Additionally, Titans are getting a boost to their melee damage, with unpowered melees getting increased by 20% against PvE enemies.
The Revenant update is set to bring a number of other changes to the game, including adjustments to various “roaming” Super abilities. Check out Bungie’s This Week in Destiny post for a full rundown of the changes.
