Limited Resources

Nether delves feature limited revives and no passive health regeneration. Health is recovered via dropped orbs; other healing methods remain effective. Special and Heavy ammo is scarce, relying on weapon perks and mods.

Completing Nether Objectives

Objectives, shown by your Ghost, involve tasks like destroying weapon systems. These typically involve defeating named enemies. Objectives include:

• Defending areas by defeating enemies culminating in a miniboss.
• Depositing relics into receptacles.
• Destroying glowing orange spores.
• Defeating a Tormentor boss after completing smaller objectives.

Completing objectives rewards loot. Defeating the final boss yields additional loot from a chest.

Uncovering Secret Loot

Hidden chests around the Nether contain Apostate’s Blade armor pieces, Adamantite, Psychopomp, and Abyssal Edge. Metastasized Essentia nodes, when collected at the end of a run, can be exchanged at Eris Morn’s apartment for reprised weapons, Essence of Desire, Enhancement Cores, and Prisms.
