Cards Against Humanity Sues Elon Musk for Damaging Protected Land
Cards Against Humanity, the publisher of the popular adult card game, has announced plans to sue Elon Musk for allegedly dumping waste from SpaceX’s production plant onto protected land owned by the company. The land in question is located on the US-Mexico border and was purchased by Cards Against Humanity to prevent the construction of Donald Trump’s border wall.
Unconventional Announcement
The company made the announcement through a website called ElonOwesYou100Dollars.com, which provides details about the lawsuit. The website states that Musk started dumping SpaceX’s waste on the land without permission and issued an ultimatum to Cards Against Humanity after being caught.
According to the website, Cards Against Humanity responded to Musk’s ultimatum by saying “Go f**k yourself, Elon Musk. We’ll see you in court.”
The Lawsuit
Cards Against Humanity is suing Musk for damages. The company plans to split the lawsuit’s net proceeds equally among its original subscribers if they win. The website states that this is not enough to compensate its subscribers for the damage caused by Musk’s actions, but it’s a start.
The company claims that Musk’s actions have damaged its reputation and that of its subscribers. Cards Against Humanity had promised to protect the land from “racist billionaires and their dumb vanity projects,” and Musk’s actions have breached that promise.
No Response from Musk or SpaceX
At the time of writing, neither Musk nor SpaceX have responded to the allegations or the lawsuit. Cards Against Humanity has ended its statement with a humorous post-script, saying “We will also accept Twitter.com as compensation.”
