Embarking on your journey through Avowed, you’ll eventually reach Galawain’s Tusks, a vast and, frankly, not-so-pretty region. Scarred by lava and acid, it’s a stark contrast to previous areas, but don’t let the grim landscape fool you. There’s plenty to discover in this expansive zone.

Feeling overwhelmed by the sheer size of Galawain’s Tusks? We’ve meticulously explored every nook and cranny to bring you a fully uncovered map. This region is divided into several key areas:

• The Sallow Steppe
• Slumbering Fields
• Twinedwood
• Solace Keep
• Primordial Depths
• Ash Forest
• Mt. Forja

While most of the map is open for exploration from the start, Mt. Forja is partially tied to the main story quest.

Key Locations and Points of Interest

Navigating Galawain’s Tusks is made easier with nine fast travel beacons, although, strangely, there isn’t one within the main hub, Solace Keep. You’ll need to travel to the beacon just outside the drawbridge. Also, be aware that some beacons only become active as you progress through the story.

Other notable locations include:

• An area South of The Sallow Steppe and directly east of where you start.
• A spot near the Restless Cavern in the southwestern part of Slumbering Fields, requiring a climb to a cliff top.
• The Pargrun Cache, reachable through the Lost Village (north of Solace Keep), which houses rewards and pieces of the Totem of Perseverance.
• Treasure map locations for the Ancient Arrowhead, My Loyal Shield, and The Blade That Hungers.
• The location of Sanza’s missing cartographer, found near Solace Keep.
