Astro Bot has gotten a PS5 Pro patch, version 1.012, promising an improved version of the game. But what does it really change?
PSSR vs TAA: A Sharper Image
The game now uses PlayStation Spectral Resolution (PSSR). This upscaler replaces the old TAA, aiming for a 4K output. Generally, it looks better. Some games, like Final Fantasy Rebirth, really benefit, while others, like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, see less improvement.
