Warzone’s New Sniper, Audio Fixes, and Bug Patches
A new update has dropped for Call of Duty: Warzone, bringing with it the Archie’s Festival Frenzy event. This update includes a new sniper rifle, audio improvements, and bug fixes.
New AMR Mod 4 Sniper Rifle
Season 1 Reloaded introduces the AMR Mod 4 sniper rifle, obtainable through the Archie’s Festival Frenzy event or via an in-game store bundle. The CHF Barrel attachment is restricted for this weapon, but the restriction has been removed from the COR 45 Pistol and the Saug submachine gun’s akimbo variant.
Improved Audio
This update focuses on enhancing footstep audio. Enemy footstep volume has been increased, while first-person player footstep volume has been decreased. Environmental reverb effects have been reduced for all players.
Bug Fixes
Several bugs have been addressed, including one in Holiday Rush mode preventing Santa from aiming downwards and an exploit allowing players to use unintended perks. Collision issues in Urzikstan, allowing for map exploits, have also been fixed. Activision is still investigating a separate issue with the Ghost Perk.
Further Updates
An upcoming Squid Game collaboration and a new Call of Duty shop bundle featuring a unicorn finisher are also on the horizon.
