Black Ops 6 & Warzone: Major Weapon Update Improves Gameplay
A significant update has hit Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone, focusing on weapon adjustments. The December 10th patch notes detail changes to weapon motion, idle sway, and headshot damage.
Core Weapon Changes
Treyarch implemented comprehensive reductions to weapon motion across all weapons in both games. These reductions, ranging widely depending on the weapon and class, aim to improve the overall combat experience. Players will experience increased stability while turning, moving, and firing, particularly while aiming down sights.
Specifically, the aiming idle sway delay is reduced by 50% on all Black Ops 6 weapons (to 2.2 seconds), and is completely removed for sniper rifles. Melee weapons also received improvements to swing speed.
Black Ops 6 Specific Enhancements
Black Ops 6 sees further refinements. Headshot multipliers are increased for several assault rifles and submachine guns, enhancing their effectiveness. The CHF Barrel also receives adjustments to boost headshot multipliers.
Zombies and Warzone Updates
The update includes bug fixes for the Zombies mode in Black Ops 6, addressing issues with AFK warnings and the Citadelle des Morts Easter egg. Warzone receives the weapon adjustments and a change to Ranked Play: Buy Stations now have fixed spawns, consistent with unranked modes.
