Magic The Gathering Marvel Collaboration Set for Spider Man Release

After teasing their pending partnership late last year, Wizards Of The Coast and Marvel have finally revealed the first part of Marvel’s entry into the Magic: The Gathering. The two companies revealed five Secret Lair drops, each themed for a different Marvel superhero, which will be available on the Secret Lair website beginning November 4.

Secret Lair Drops

Each drop consists of five cards, one mechanically-unique legendary creature card and four reprints from Magic’s past. The legendary creature card will depict one of the five featured heroes – Captain America, Black Panther, Wolverine, Iron Man, and Storm – while the four reprints will feature new artwork of the corresponding hero.

Each of the five drops will be available in non-foil and rainbow-foil treatments. All who spend $199 or more will receive a special reprint of Arcane Signet called Earth’s Mightiest Emblem, with Avengers Tower featuring in the card’s artwork.

Partnership’s First Tentpole Set

Wizards Of The Coast has also confirmed that the partnership’s first tentpole set will be themed around Marvel’s Spider-Man, and that the set will launch in 2025.
