Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 Showcases New Tyranid Season 2

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 is set to receive its new Season 2 update, which will introduce a new PvE operation, Lethal Difficulty mode, and more. This update is part of the game’s Year One post-launch roadmap, which was previously detailed.

New PvE Operation and Lethal Difficulty Mode

The new PvE operation will take players back to Kadaku to face the Hierophant Bio-Titan, a creature described as the “biggest and most terrifying Tyranid yet.” The Lethal Difficulty mode is designed to test players’ skills against the most brutal Xenos and heretics. This mode will be available for operations mode.

New Cosmetics and Armoury

Season Pass owners will receive a range of new Dark Angel themed cosmetics, including the Weapon Skin Pack and the Champion Pack. The Weapon Skin Pack brings new looks for the auto bolt, rifle, plasma pistol, and power sword. The Champion Pack includes a full-body armour skin for the Bulwark class, a unique shield, and other additions.

Free Update and Release Date

The Season 2 update will arrive for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC “very, very soon.” This update will be free for all Space Marine 2 players. Additional new content is planned for the game’s Year One, including new PvE operations, PvP maps, and a survival-based Horde Mode.
