Star Wars Outlaws Patch 2 Brings Stealth and Speeder Fixes
Ubisoft has released its latest update for Star Wars Outlaws, focusing on further stealth tweaks, speeder improvements, performance and stability optimizations, and more. Title Update 2 promises to enhance the overall gaming experience, addressing issues that have been bothering players since the game’s launch.
Stealth Tweaks and Speeder Improvements
The new update brings significant changes to the game’s stealth sequences, which were initially considered “unfair” and “incredibly punishing.” Ubisoft has adjusted AI detection to improve stealth, as well as the number of NPCs and their positioning, patrol pathing, and camera detection. Additionally, the update highlights environmental opportunities to reduce player friction.
Speeder enthusiasts will be pleased to know that the update includes camera improvements when FOV is increased, improved response and reaction when the speeder is called, and better environmental collision to reduce the likelihood of players being knocked off the speeder during travel.
Performance and Stability Improvements
The update also promises stability and performance improvements across all platforms, along with enhanced movement animations for Kay. Various progress-impacting issues have been fixed, including one that would cause players to get stuck in the hyperjump sequence towards Kijimi.
Future Updates and DLC
Ubisoft plans to release more updates to polish and improve the player experience, including the first bit of post-launch story DLC, starring Lando Calrissian, on November 21st. The company is working on optimization, gameplay polishing, and tweaks, as well as quality of life changes, including adjustments to combat and stealth gameplay.
