Motion Twin, the developer of the acclaimed action-platformer Dead Cells, has released a 15-minute gameplay video for its upcoming game Windblown. The video offers a spoiler-free insight into the game’s basic mechanics and what it’s like to play as a Leaper for the first time.

The gameplay video takes players through the game’s basics, showcasing the Leaper’s movement and combat abilities. In Windblown, players will leap through vast, ever-changing islands in the sky, using powerful weapons to destroy the Sentinels, deadly minions of the Vortex that threaten their home.

Although a firm release date has not been announced, Motion Twin plans to release the game in early access on PC in 2024. Windblown is a combat-focused adventure that can be played solo or with up to three friends online. Players take on the role of Leapers, warriors charged with protecting their home world, The Ark, from the deadly Vortex and its Sentinel minions.
