Following the retirement of Insomniac co-founder Ted Price, new co-heads Chad Dezern, Ryan Schneider, and Jen Huang spoke with Variety. While they acknowledged significant fan anticipation, they remained tight-lipped about a release date, refusing to confirm or deny a 2025 launch. Dezern used a Wolverine metaphor, stating they need to “remain very stoic until it’s time to pop the claws.”
