Marvel Rivals, the Overwatch competitor, has reached 20 million players! Season 1 is bringing a host of exciting new content, including new heroes, maps, a battle pass, and cosmetic items. While many heroes have been leaked, NetEase has officially confirmed some additions.

Marvel Rivals Season 1 Start Date

Season 0 ends January 9 at 10 PM PST / January 10 at 1 AM EST. Season 1 is expected to begin around January 10th, though an exact date and server downtime details are pending. The new battle pass will be longer than Season 0’s, and existing battle passes don’t expire.

Marvel Rivals Season 1 Confirmed New Heroes

The Fantastic Four – Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and Thing – have been confirmed. A trailer showcasing them dropped on January 6th. While their exact classes remain unconfirmed, Thing is likely a Vanguard (tank), and Human Torch a Duelist (DPS). Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman may fill the Strategist (support) role.
